Best Rooms For Luxury Vinyl Tile

Which Rooms Are Best for Using Luxury Vinyl Tile?

Here are the rooms we think would be best for luxury vinyl tile.

Luxury vinyl tile, known as LVT, can be a fantastic new addition to your home. LVT can be designed to replicate the appearance of other types of flooring, meaning you can almost certainly find the look you want. Some rooms are better-suited for LVT than others since they take advantage of its incredible durability, resistance to water, and low-maintenance properties. Here are the rooms we think would be best for luxury vinyl tile.

Use Luxury Vinyl Tile in the Basement

It can be tough to find the ideal flooring for your basement, but LVT can be the perfect solution. It’s a more comfortable flooring option than standard hardwood flooring, and it’s more water-resistant, which is especially important if you live somewhere susceptible to floods. With the help of LVT, your basement will also create a more warming and welcoming atmosphere. It even holds in more heat, which is helpful since basements can get cooler than the rest of your house.

Luxury Vinyl Tile in Bathrooms

Never go with hardwood flooring in your bathroom. It’s susceptible to rotting and warping caused by all of the moisture often found in this room. Luxury vinyl tile is much more reliable. It won’t rot or warp like hardwood flooring, and you can still get that wood-like appearance. This means you don’t have to choose between beauty and functionality. With LVT, you get the best of both worlds for your bathroom.

Luxury Vinyl Tile in Your Kitchen

Hardwood flooring in your kitchen may sound like a great idea. These floors can add extra warmth and beauty to the room, but it isn’t usually a very practical option. Kitchens are likely to experience problems with spills, and dishwashers and sinks that break down. This can expose your floor to moisture, and if you have a hardwood floor, it can quickly warp, discolor, and twist it until it needs to be replaced entirely.

With luxury vinyl tile, you have a warmer and softer flooring solution. It’s water-resistant, so it can handle the spills that take place in the kitchen. The softer surface is also useful when you need to spend extended periods of time in the kitchen, preparing large meals.
